Rentals

Have your family reunion, birthday party, class reunion, meeting, or company picnic at one of Kinston's beautiful parks or recreation facilities. Whether your group is large or small, we have the perfect facility for you at an affordable cost. We also have a spray ground, a full-service campground, gymnasiums, and swimming pools available for rent.

Reservations

The Recreation Department maintains policies and rental fees for buildings, picnic shelters, gyms, sports fields, pools, and a spray ground. Some requests may require approval from the Recreation Commission. For more information or to inquire about availability, please visit klc.recdesk.com or you can call the Administrative Office at 252-939-3332, Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Reservations may be requested online or done in person. We are located at 2602 W Vernon Ave. Kinston, NC 28504, upstairs at the Kinston Community Center. All reservations must be paid for at the time of reserving. 

Rules & Regulations

• Reservation times include set up and clean up times.
• Recreation sponsored activities have precedence over all other activities.
• Facilities may not be used for any profit-making enterprise.
• Park hours are dawn to dusk or until park sanctioned activities are completed unless special permission is granted by the Director of Parks and Recreation.
• Alcoholic beverages, drugs, weapons, tobacco products, ATVs, motorized bikes, or metal detectors are not permitted in/on recreation department buildings or grounds.
