PLEASE NOTE THAT THE NEW LOAD MANAGEMENT SWITCHES WILL NOT START TO BE INSTALLED UNTIL SUMMER 2025.

Central Air 25% Control
Under 25% central A/C control your air conditioner's compressor will be cycled on and off in fifteen minute intervals at the peak demand time. The circulating fan will continue to provide air to the house but the air will not be cooled while being controlled. This reduces the immediate electrical demand while maintaining comfort levels in the home. The credit offered for 25% central A/C control is $8.00 per month during the months of June through September.

Electric Heat Strips
With the heat strip load control option, your heat strip supplementary heating unit will be turned off for the duration of the load event. Your primary heater will continue to function but temperatures may decrease a degree or two during the load management period. The credit offered for electric heat strips is $20.00 per month during the months of January through March.

Electric Water Heaters
With the water heater load control option, your tank water heater will be turned off for the duration of the load event. Hot water will still remain in the water heater but the unit will not heat any more water. With a properly sized water heater, you will likely not even know when load management is active. The credit offered for electric water heaters is $5.00 per month for all 12 months of the year.
